David Paterson Says Eric Adams Is the One: 'His Scorecard Is Incredible'

The former governor has decided his endorsee for the savior of New York City is none other than the current mayor of New York City.

After advising one candidate in this year's mayoral race and endorsing another, former Governor David Paterson has finally settled on who he is backing to defeat Zohran Mamdani in the general election: "My choice is Eric Adams," he said on Wednesday at a press conference on the steps of City Hall.

As a small group of supporters shielded their eyes from a blazing sun with "Re-elect ERIC for mayor" signs and limply chanted "four more years," "Eric," and "save the city," Paterson revealed that the one to save New York City, "at this particular time, in this moment where so many issues are occurring," is none other than the very man who has been running New York City for the last four years. "His scorecard is incredible," the former governor said of the current mayor.
